Who we are, what we offer!
Foosball Flights is a service that has emerged from a feeling shared by many in the foosball community that due to lack of organization, foosball suffers. Travel and hotel expenses are one of the largest areas of expense for most foosball players attending a tournament. Currently this expense is lost forever from the community with no ability for it to be tracked and certainly not computed in aggregate.
For the players, Foosball Flights is our own grassroots way to organize our foosball expenses so that they can be accounted for in the long term. Foosball Flights is running on the tested and trusted Expedia platform. Foosball Flights offers flight and hotel booking, as well as basic tournament information, maps of the venue and hotel, alternative hotel searches, etc.
For the promoters, Foosball Flights has a powerful reporting mechanism allowing you to inquire about headcounts for reservations made through our system. We help promoters bridge the information gap between players who find better rates online and those who are tracked using negotiated group rates.
Our Vision
FoosballFlights.com aims to assist this sport in getting a voice for possible group and volume travel discounts provided other sports. Currently there are hundreds, if not thousands, of annual flights made specifically for foosball players to compete in foosball tournaments throughout the world. As a smaller individually driven sport in the wider landscape of competitive gaming, foosball players have not been eligible for the discounts given to baseball, hockey, soccer, and other team sports.
Without metrics we are unable to substantiate the numbers, so this is our first order of business if we expect to be taken seriously in future pricing negotiations. We must begin to unite our small community, where possible, if we are to find our power in numbers. The more people who book their travel through FoosballFlights.com, the louder our voice will become.
